About a year ago, the body of Christ in Kono city was in deep mess. The long years of war did much in lowering the impact of the Christian community. The nefarious activities of a few practising spiritism in the body also left the church further diminished, as people saw through their double life and fled the churches. “During the war, people saw through their deception. The fake pastors and prophets around exploited people and they reacted by leaving churches,” Pastor Aiah Kassegbama of Kono Bible Training Centre, confirms.
