As the world becomes more scientific with breakthroughs in technology, medicine, information etc. even so the world seems to be drifting far away from the one who has created all things. Rather than glorifying this Almighty Omniscient God who has given such wisdom to men, the world is fast approaching a place where God becomes irrelevant in the scheme of things. Recent happenings in the world have however given wise people food for thought as the economy of nations, even the great ones, are collapsing and financial empires crumbling. It seems clear that the time of darkness prophesied by Isaiah is here with us. “Darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people” (Isaiah 60:2).

Everything in life is about process. A process speaks about the unfolding of events that take place before the real thing is made manifest. In creation, there was a process. The earth God created had a challenge. The Bible says the earth was without form and void and darkness was on the face of the deep (Genesis 1: 2).There was need for intervention but God did not take a fire brigade approach by just calling things into being. He first sent His Spirit to move over the deep, then called the light forth (v 3). After this, God created everything through the same principle of 'process'. Before the making of a man of God, there must be a process. The intention of God for everyone is to become a minister, an ambassador of Christ. God, through faith in Christ, delivered us from the kingdom of darkness and brought us into His marvelous light. We become His disciples but the ultimate purpose is for us to become ministers.

Zimbabwe has become everything a nation should not be with the largest inflation rate in the world and over 90% unemployment rate following years of political turmoil. This hyperinflation is the worst the world has ever seen.

Today many are abusing the anointing due to lack of understanding of its purpose. When the hand of God is upon a man, it will be evident and men will flock to him for solutions to varying issues of life. The anointing is a magnet that draws people regardless of where one is located. With due respect to all the teachings on church growth, we can safely conclude that the anointing is the principal ingredient for church growth. This we shall see in the case of Elisha. After the men of the city had ascertained that the anointing was now upon him, they brought the condition of the city to his attention. Men will look out for you when you succeed in getting the anointing.

From the time Moses was raised as God's prophet till now, God's plan is to reveal his will to his people so that they might walk in purpose for their lives. Apart from this, the Lord also calls his prophets to bring spiritual order to the people showing the leaders the acceptable ways. When God was ready to bring Israel out of Egyptian bondage, he raised Moses. Through the prophets, Israel came to the land of Canaan and was preserved by the same.
